Delete your Splittr account

1. Open Splittr.
2. Go to Profile & Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and read the summary of what will happen.
4. Confirm. That's it — deletion starts immediately.

• Your authentication account and sign-in identity.
• Your personal profile information: name, email and photo.
• Your active Circle memberships.
• Active invitations associated with your account.
• Account-specific recurring activity.

If you are the sole admin of a Circle, administration may transfer to another member so the Circle keeps working for the people still in it. A Circle left with no members may be archived.

Expenses and settlements you were part of don't vanish — other people in your Circles still need an accurate record. Where removing your data would alter another member's shared financial history, your part in those records is anonymised: the amounts and splits stay correct, but they appear under “Deleted member” instead of your name.

Supporting evidence such as a bill or receipt photo that forms part of a shared expense record may be retained with that shared record where needed to preserve other Circle members' history, subject to access controls and applicable law. Temporary backup, security and legal-retention copies may also persist for a limited period.

If you're deleting because money is still unsettled, consider settling or recording settlements first — deletion can't be undone, and your named record in a Circle becomes anonymous history afterwards.
