Terms of Use

The ground rules for Splittr, in language a person can read. The most important one: Splittr keeps records, not money.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

The service

Splittr, operated by TrustGraphed Systems Private Limited, is a record-keeping app for shared expenses. It lets groups (“Circles”) log shared costs, compute exact splits and balances, record settlements and keep history.

Splittr is not a payment service

Splittr does not hold, move, process, escrow or transmit money or monetary value. There is no wallet, no payment rail, no bank or UPI integration. A “settlement” in Splittr is a record that a payment happened elsewhere, between the people involved. Any actual payment is solely between you and them, through whatever method you choose. Splittr keeps the score accurately, but it cannot and does not guarantee that another member will pay what a record says they owe.

Your account

You sign in with Google or email. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the expenses you record. Balances in Splittr are only as true as what your Circle enters — the math is exact; the inputs are yours.

Invitations and Circles

Circle invite links and QR codes are for people you actually split expenses with. Joining a Circle requires explicit acceptance. Don't use invites to spam, scrape or add people to things they never agreed to.

Content you add

You keep ownership of what you add, including bill photos attached as evidence. You grant Splittr the limited permission needed to store and show that content to the members of the relevant Circle. Don't upload content you have no right to share.

Acceptable use

No abuse, no harassment through reminders, no attempts to access other people's Circles or data, no misrepresenting the app as a payment or banking product.

Availability and launch status

Splittr Android 1.0.0 is the initial public MVP release. Platform availability may change over time. Features and these terms may change as the product evolves; material changes will be flagged on this site.

Liability

Splittr provides records, not financial advice and not payment processing. To the extent permitted by law, TrustGraphed Systems Private Limited is not liable for disputes between Circle members about who owes whom — Splittr keeps the score; the settling is yours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. TrustGraphed Systems Private Limited is incorporated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product evolves. The current version always lives on this page with its “last updated” date, and material changes will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in quietly.
